Selpercatinib is a special kind of drug that targets RET, which is a problem in some cancers. It’s used for a few types of cancer, like NSCLC and thyroid cancer. Its job is to stop this thing called RET kinase, an enzyme that’s all important in how tumors grow.

You can get this medicine in two doses – 40 mg and 80 mg in capsule form. The usual amount to take is 160 mg, twice a day. That’s either two of the 80 mg ones or four of the 40 mg ones.

You can take it with or without eating. Each bottle holds 60 capsules.
