FLT3 Inhib Generic AML Treatment

Gilteritinib is a FLT3 inhibitor. It’s used to treat a type of, called AML, especially when it’s back or not responding, and there are FLT3 mutations. It works by keeping the FLT3 kinase thingy under control.

That slows down the leukemia cells from multiplying. Gilteritinib comes in tablets, and each is a 40 mg deal, all coated up. You’re supposed to take 120 mg once a day if you’re an adult.

You get the Gilteritinib in a bottle that has 90 pills in it. The main ingredient is gilteritinib, and it’s only used if your FLT3 mutations are a certain type, as checked by a special test. You can take it with or without food.

If you miss a dose, just grab one as soon as you remember, but don’t take extra just to catch up.
