Capivasertib is an AKT inhibitor designed for the treatment of HR /HER2breast cancer patients with PIK3CA/AKT1/PTEN alterations. It does its job by stopping AKT signaling, which is a big part in how cancer cells grow. You can find the drug in tablets that are either 200 mg or 400 mg.

The dose doctors usually suggest is 400 mg two times a day, taken for four straight days and then you have a three-day chill break. Every bottle has 64 tablets, and that’s enough for one full treatment cycle.
