So, Vigabatrin is this med used to help with tough epilepsy and those little spasms in babies. It does its thing by stopping something called GABA transaminase, which in turn makes more GABA in the brain. You can get this drug in two types: tablets that are 500 mg each and little packets of powder.

The doc usually tells you to take 1 to 3 grams of this stuff each day, but spread it out over the day. Each bottle’s got 100 of those 500 mg tablets. You got to take it just like the doc says.

Be warned, Vigabatrin can mess with your eyes and your thinking. It’s not something you wanna mess with lightly.
