Binimetinib is a MEK inhibitor. It’s used to treat BRAF V600E/K-mutant melanoma, especially when taken with encorafenib. It works by stopping MEK signaling.

It comes in 15 mg film-coated tablets. The usual dose for adults is 45 mg, taken twice a day. Each pack has 84 tablets.

The drug is meant to stop MEK enzymes, which can help slow down the growth and spread of cancer cells with the BRAF mutation. The MEK/ERK pathway is really important for melanoma cells to grow, live, and move around. Binimetinib goes after this pathway to stop tumor growth.
