It’s an inhibitor used to treat Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. It mainly deals with mutations in this thing called the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor, EGFR for short. It’s made to stop something called the EGFR T790M mutation.

This is a pretty common thing that happens when people who’ve taken other kinds of EGFR start to resist treatment. You got two doses of the pill: 40 mg and 80 mg. You’re supposed to take 80 mg of it every day, whether you have it with food or not.
