Erdafitinib is a medication that’s used to treat a type of cancer called metastatic urothelial carcinoma. It works by targeting changes in the FGFR2/3 genes. The tablets are available in strengths of 3, 4, or 5 milligrams.

You usually take 8 milligrams a day, but it can go up to 9 milligrams if needed. Each bottle holds 56 of the tablets. Erdafitinib stops the FGFR signal, and you’re supposed to take it every day.
