Generic Anagrelide 0.5mg Capsules

Anagrelide is used to lower platelet counts in people with essential thrombocythemia. It works by stopping megakaryocytes from maturing. You usually start with 0.5 mg taken four times a day, and the doc might change the dose based on how you do and your platelet count.

Each pill is 0.5 mg. There are 100 pills in each bottle. You can take these pills with or without food.

Just swallow them whole. Be careful with this med if you have heart failure, high blood pressure, or kidney problems. Possible side effects are low platelet counts, anemia, a low white blood cell count, and neutropenia.

You might need a lower dose if you have really bad kidney problems. Don’t take this if you’re allergic to anagrelide or any part of it.
