Generic Antiviral Tablets

Valganciclovir is an antiviral. It’s used to treat CMV retinitis in people with weakened immune systems and to stop CMV from infecting transplant recipients. It’s actually a kind of ‘helper’ drug for ganciclovir.

Your body turns it into the real deal, mostly in your liver. It stops the virus from making its DNA, which is super important for the virus to survive. You get this stuff in 450 mg tablets, with a special coating to make them easier on your tummy.

You should take 900 mg, either once or twice a day with something to eat, so it soaks in better. The tablets are coated so they don’t bother your stomach too much. Valganciclovir is supplied in bottles containing 60 tablets.

Try to take it at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, don’t take it later in the same day. You gotta keep a regular schedule with these, okay? Keep it in a cool place, like your room, away from the sun’s rays.
