Generic EGFR Inhibitor for Lung Cancer

Dacomitinib is a kind of EGFR inhibitor. It’s used to treat NSCLC. It’s especially for people with certain gene mutations, like those on exon 19 or exon 21 with the L858R change.

It stops EGFR signaling, which actually makes cancer cells grow. You can get the drug in three doses: 15mg, 30mg, and 45mg. But, typically, you’d take the 45mg pill every day.

The pills have a film coating and come in bottles with 30 pills in each one.
