Pemigatinib is a type of inhibitor for a family of enzymes called tyrosine kinases. It’s made just for cholangiocarcinoma patients who have a certain kind of fusion in their FGFR2. It works by stopping the signals that the Fibroblast Growth Factor receptors send out.

You can get pemigatinib in tablets that come in 4.5 mg, 9 mg, and 13.5 mg doses. The advice is to take one 13.5 mg tablet every day for 14 days in every 21-day period. The tablets come in bottles that have a total of 14 tablets in them.
