Alpelisib is a PI3K inhibitor. It’s made to treat breast cancer that’s hormone receptor-positive and HER2-negative, especially if there are mutations in the PIK3CA gene. It works by focusing on the PI3K signaling pathway.

There are three strengths of this stuff: 50, 200, and 300 milligrams, all in these film-coated tablet things. The go-to dose is 300 mg, taken every day with some food. Each dose is just one tablet of the 300 mg stuff.

The tablets come in blister packs with 28 in each, so that’s a whole month’s worth.
