Praseltinib is a special kind of medicine that’s made to help with RET-fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer and thyroid cancers. It works by focusing on the RET kinase, which is a protein that’s really important for how cancer cells grow and live. You take it in 100 mg capsules, and the usual dose is 400 mg a day.

It’s best to take it on an empty stomach so it can work really well. Each bottle has 60 capsules, which is enough for about 15 days if you take it as recommended. You need to swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water.

Don’t chew them or break them open. It’s super important to stick to the dosing schedule and never stop or change the dose without talking to a doctor first.
