Mavacamten is a special drug made just for treating a heart condition called obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It works by slowing down the heart’s muscle movement, which makes the heart beat less strongly. The drug is in a capsule and comes in different sizes: 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 15 mg.
